Grace (aka Jackie) – Rescued with a Severe Respiratory

5/23/17 – Grace was a very sick kitty when she was rescued by our 4p1h friend, Jeanine D. She had a severe upper respiratory infection and was very emaciated. With the help of 4 paws 1 heart, Grace was immediately taken to the doctor where they did blood work, tested her, and treated her for her upper respiratory infection. She was eventually spayed and vaccinated when she became healthy and now she is in her forever home with a new name — Jackie. It is only with your support and donations that we can continue to help the abandoned and abused. Donations can be made through paypal by using the donation link on this page or by mail at P.O. Jack is about as sassy as they come. She wants all of the attention all the time, has learned how to play with toys (and chase her own tail), and is obsessed with the 60lb dog. She had pretty gnarly eye and ear infections as well as the URI, was quite emaciated at 2.4 lbs, and tested FelV+, but she sure doesn’t let that slow her down. She has a cataract on her eye that has healed over- it will always look cloudy and she does not have full vision out of it, but I don’t think she knows the difference.
