0/16/17 – Honeydew. She was found emaciated, walking the streets all alone. She appears to have been neglected and used for breeding by the look of her teats. She has several scars on her body. She is a little dirty in this photo, because it was taken shortly after she was found. We are guessing she is maybe 3 or 4 years old. She is scheduled to see one of our vets so that she can be spayed, vaccinated, and tested for heart worm (paws crossed she is healthy). She has a very sweet temperament and the finders will make sure she is healthy before they find her a forever home. Attempts were made to find her owner without success. From my experience, it is likely she was dumped when the ‘owners’ no longer had use for her. Please say a little prayer for Honeydew.
