Ellie – Rescued Before Being Euthanized; Has Her Leg Amputated

4/2/18 – OOPS – GIina steered me wrong. Ellie’s surgery is actually tomorrow, 4/3/18.
4/2/18 – Please say a prayer for Ellie. We rescued her before she was euthanized. Her leg had multiple fractures requiring that it be amputated. She is having her surgery today and although she is in a great foster home, she does not a forever home or a rescue group to make her their own to find a forever home. We have had many serious cases in March — three cases where the back legs became paralyzed after being rescued with deep wounds on the back, two cases of heart worm, one case of parvo virus, and a case where all of the teeth needed to be extracted AND, these are just the expensive cases. Every animal we assist with basic vetting costs $100 to $200 and there have been many of those.
If you can donate, please use the ‘donate’ link on the left side of this page or send a check by mail to P.O. Box 84, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080. These animals would not have a second chance at life without you. ~ diana
