5/21/19 – RIP Clementine. For almost one week our friend, Shelley Emerson, has been trying to rescue this cat who was said to be very sick. Finally, today, she was able to get her into one of our veterinary partners. Unfortunately, by this time, her condition was very dire. Clementine was breathing heavily and, unfortunately, bleeding. After trying for a couple of hours to help her, she passed away. Our only comfort is knowing that she didn’t suffer any more and didn’t die on the street, alone. We thank the doctor and staff for trying to save her and for giving her warmth and comfort in her last moments. Also, thank you to our friend, Shelley, for trying so hard to save her.
