8/8/14 – URGENT Home Needed or Pet will be taken to the shelter before the end of the day. Brandy is a 5 year old Visla/Lab Mix, spayed but vaccines are not up to date. Her owner is moving in with someone who does not allow dogs in her home. They plan to take her to the shelter today. 8/8/14 – Another innocent animal who will be taken to the shelter if a rescue, foster, or adopter does not step up. This is Najee. His owners have been evicted and this is their last day. He is neutered, 4-5 years old, very protective of his toys, and said to love cats. UPDATE 8/11/14 – Najee is safe and through the power of social media has found someone interested in giving him a forever home.  He is staying with his rescuer, Jo A. until Thursday, August 14, when he is to be picked up by his adopter. ~ diana
