Is She Lost or Was She Just Abandoned

12-13-14 – Please share. This very sweet girl has been living under a house in the 27 Mile and Gratiot, Michigan area. She was brought into the veterinary to be examined and was found to have a microchip but the chip doesn’t appear to be registered to anyone. We have asked the homeowners who contacted us to check with their neighbors who may have lost their cat. In the mean time she is safe in a home and no longer in danger of the elements and humans. Please contact Jo at [email protected] if you have any information about the owners. 4 Paws 1 Heart will take care of any medical needs. ~ diana

More Cats Left Behind

12/11/14 – Another sweet-tempered feline tossed out and found emaciated with frost bitten ears. Fortunately, she will be going to a foster home but she will need a forever home. She will be taken to the vet to be examined, spayed (if needed), tested, and vaccinated — compliments of 4 Paws 1 Heart and our generous supporters. Please contact Jo at [email protected] if you are interested in giving her a second chance at love. ~ dianajoadd12:11:14

Love and Friendship – Tobias

12/11/14 – It looks like Jessica and family are spoiling our boy. Remember that he is available for adoption. Contact Gina at [email protected]

“I know I take a ton of pics of our sweet foster boy, but I finally got one showing how great he is with his little foster sisters! Zoey (the one looking at the camera) is still apprehensive and timid but Bella and Tobias love snuggling and sharing pillows….especially when that “pillow” is one of our laps!” ~ Jessica

Sonic – More Surgery

12/9/14 Remember Sonic? Now he is known as Dino and we rechecked his tooth that was displaced as a result of his attack. We sedated him to remove the dead tooth and damaged jaw bone. Then, a sponge material was tucked into the hole and covered with suture material. In 1 week we will recheck to see how things are healing. Here he is waking up from his procedure. He was sent on antibiotics as a precautionary, but we pray he will have no issues! He’s already been through sooooo much! Then he can live a happy life! ~ GinaSonicaftermouthsurgery12:9:14

Reese – Before and After

12/9/14 – Thank You, once again, to Angela and the Ferndale Cat Shelter. ~ diana

“Reese is now happily in her new furever home with her new family! We received this message from her new mom: “Reese did amazing last night! She has met all if the animals and is wandering the house with them and playing with our other cat.” So that is a super beginning! Usually there is a decompression time and a getting to know you time. Reese is just a great social gal and we are so happy to hear it! Thank you to the 2 rescuers that saved her and to 4 Paws 1 Heart for helping with her vetting costs.  The first pic is of Reese now – comfortable and happy. The second was the original picture when she was abandoned in an apartment after an eviction. What a difference! So happy for this great girl.”
