Daegan – Kicked Out by His Owner – Needs a Rescue/Adopter.

6/18/19 – Daegan showed up in Nicole’s backyard and she actually found his owner. When she brought Daegan ‘home’, the owner threw him out of the house and said he didn’t want him. Daegan is only 6 months old and is very sweet. I received a call from one of our veterinary partners asking if we could cover his vaccines and health check, which, of course we did. Because Nicole already has dogs who are not thrilled with an ‘interloper’, she is in desperate need of finding a rescue or adopter for Daegan. He is scheduled for neutering, complements of 4p1h, next week. Anyone interested in this handsome boy, should contact Nicole at: [email protected]

6/17/19 – All of our hearts are breaking for Team Chance and their loss of the beautiful and sweet Rosie Roo. It was our honor to take care of Rosie’s medical needs over the past two years. And, we are so thankful for the love given to her by her foster mom, Dee, and her Aunt Shelly. Run free sweet Rosie. You were much loved. – Aunt Di

rosie roo 6:17:19“Today was the day I’ve been dreading for soooo long, we lost our beloved Rosie Roo today. Her poor little body just couldnt do what she wanted it to anymore. Old age & dementia was stealing our babys body & mind. It’s been the honor & joy of my life to be Roo’s Mama, my heart is in a million pieces. Roo’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew & loved her, she brought so much love with her when she came to us and I’m so thankful for every day we had with her 💜
We will be going dark on our page the rest of today, but starting tomorrow and for the next couple days we will be sharing Roo’s story & pics and the importance of, and the love you recieve when you adopt a senior into your heart & home.
I want to thank 4 Paws 1 Heart for always standing by Roo’s side throughout her many, many medical needs.

In Memory of Rosie Roo and the many seniors who will need medical help in the future I ask if you are able, that you please make a donation to 4 Paws 1 Heart in her Memory to keep her legacy going that every life deserves a Second Chance, even a sweet little old lady like Roo. Ella – She Showed Up all Alone, With a Broken Leg

6/17/19 – Ella was rescued from the street. She was taken to a vet who advised that her leg was broken and there was a lack of blood flow to her leg. We were contacted by the rescuer and I thought for sure Ella’s leg would have to be amputated. Ella’s wonderful family took her to our vet where it was determined that her leg could be splinted and not removed. What great news! Today she is having her follow up appointment and she has found her forever home with the rescue family. We are so very happy for this beauty in that we have had so many requests to help cats with broken legs in just this past month. God Bless the Rescuers, the Fosters, and the Adopters. ~ diana

Izzy and Sox – Their Sister Was Adopted But This Bonded Pair are Still Looking for a Forever Home

6/16/19 – My all gray little sweetheart was adopted on Friday and she is doing great. Her 2 brothers are still looking for their forever home. They are about 8 weeks old, very friendly, very playful. We are not a rescue, but I will occasionally place kittens that I take in because the rescue groups are usually full. If you are serious and interested in giving one of these 2 boys a forever home please email me. [email protected]

Samson – Bought from a Guy on the Street

6/14/19 – A good friend of 4p1h, who is always there to help an animal in need, came across a man trying sell a 4-week old puppy. He kept yelling at the puppy to “shut up” while the puppy laid on the early April, cold cement. Shelley could think of nothing other than to buy the puppy to save him from an unknown, potentially dangerous fate. Before she did that, though, she contacted us to see if we would cover the medical and of course we said yes. Samson was taken to the vet and he was given a wellness exam and dewormed; he was too young for any vaccines. After contacting some animal rescues, Rebel Dogs Detroit agreed to take in Samson where he will be well taken care of. It truly takes a village. – diana

Rosey – Found on the Streets, Heart Worm Positive

6/13/19 – Rosey was found on the streets and found to be heart worm positive. Her initial treatment while being fostered was not successful and she had to begin the more aggressive heart worm treatment. Our friends at Streethearts Animal Rescue asked for help and we were happy to be there for Rosey. Let’s pray that this time treatment is successful. She is a beauty. ~ dianaRosey w:streetherts 6:3:19

Emma – Living in a Cat Community with an Eye Infection and a Urinary Tract Infection

6/12/19 – Emma had been a member of a cat community cared for by one of our Board members and a 4p1h friend. She was found to have an eye infection and a urinary tract infection. She was seen by one of our vets and was treated for both as well as had her, much needed, nails trimmed. Our latest report is that Emma is doing great. ~ dianaemma w:andra shipley 5:5:19

Anna – Once a Member of a Cat Community But Needed a Leg Amputation

6/11/19 – In the past we helped Anna, a member of a cat community, be spayed and vaccinated. She recently showed up with a swollen leg. We authorized Anna to, once again, see one of our vets, and it was determined that Anna had cancer. Her leg was amputated and thus far she is doing great living the life of an inside cat. There are so many animals this Spring asking for our help and without donations we couldn’t do it. Anything you can do to help would be very much appreciated. Thank YOU, diana
