PONGO - From Lost Love to Lots of Love

10/28/14 – Happy Morning – Just got another update on Pongo, the handsome Australian Shepherd whose owner died and no one responsible for the estate seemed to care. Here is the update and photos from Morna, who as an Australian Shepherd rescue, worked with Oakland County Animal Control, to get her out of his dire situation. ~ diana

“These aren’t the best pix since I imagine that they were moving but you can see the happy expression on Pongo’s face. The new owner said that his 14 year old aussie girl has been playing with Pongo and she hadn’t done that with any dog for several years.

Look at his gorgeous coat—it was so dull and lifeless when we got him and I suspect that he had been shaved this spring but he is what we call a very dark red tri. So happy for him and thanks to the two of you for saving this boy. I know he is happy and loved—not all dogs are that lucky.” ~ Morna Pongo and Lucy
