Every day we try to show you where your hard-earned money is spent by posting their stories. On this ‘Giving Tuesday’ I thought it only appropriate to again highlight one of our first major cases, Peanut. Peanut was brought in to the emergency by a caring man who had seen Peanut’s lifeless body laying in the corner of a family member’s home. When Peanut came in, he couldn’t lift his head to eat. Gina really didn’t know if he could be saved. But with our medical dollars, the great staff at the emergency, Gina’s love, and later the love and attention of his forever mom, Mary, Peanut is alive and well and living in Florida during the winter.
