2/2/22 – We’ve often been called on to help abandoned cats left behind in mobile home parks. And, far too often, those cats are not spayed/neutered or vaccinated. They are left to fend for themselves in the heat and cold and many never make it. Also, park managers are often overwhelmed and issue orders to the tenants to stop feeding these poor souls. There is a wonderful lady in a park who has made it her life work to go out every morning and every night to feed the many cats who have been cruelly dumped. We have assisted her on many occasions with needed medical treatment. The other day, in this bitter cold, she found another, Angelo. He had a wound on his head which turned out to be abscessed. The poor little guy was a mess. The doctors took x-rays, lanced and repaired the abscess, and extracted 4 teeth. He was given pain medication and given antibiotics. He is in recovery, out of this horrendous weather, and warm.- diana.4paws1heart.org/donations/
