5/5/22 – Meet Oliver. Rescued after a great deal of work–no names. He appeared to have a weakness in his back legs. He had a rubber band imbedded around his testicles in an attempt to neuter him. Thankfully, we were contacted and one of our faves, Dr. Z, saw him and actually reported back to me that not only was this poor boy inhumanely suffering because of the ‘backyard’ (my term) attempt to neuter him but he had also been shot. X-Rays showed shell fragments in his front shoulders but fortunately the bullets had missed his spine. Dr. Z said “he is going to make a lovely house cat as he purred and was social for everything”.
