RESCUED HOPING MOM AND SIBLINGS ARE FOUND

9/5/22 – This morning I got this call from our Board member, and mom to the Second Chance for Chance Team, Denise N. She reported that yesterday she rescued this sweet, little (approximately 12wk old) male angel. She saw some kids in her neighborhood playing with him, throwing him up in the air, etc. and of course, she went out immediately to talk with the boys and learn what was going on with the poor little kitten. They said he came from a yard where the people had been gone for a number of days. While Denise and her sister got ready to investigate, the boys returned the kitten to the yard. When Denise and her sister got there they found 2 dead kittens and this poor baby snuggled on top of one of them. One of the neighbors said there is another kitten and a mama still missing and he will watch out for them and contact Denise if they show up. Denise contacted the police department and animal control to pick up the dead kittens and brought the little one who the boys were playing with to the house of Team Chance. He ate a good dinner and went right to sleep. Who knows how long this baby was searching for food and left on his own. Today he went to a foster mom and if and when the mom and other sibling are found, this foster will also take them in while everyone can find them permanent homes. Also, and most important, 4 Paws 1 Heart will be taking care of any and all medical needs and will pray that the mom and sibling are rescued. – diana.
