CHANCE

11/7/22 – i just want everyone to know that we are still helping orphans but because I’ve been under the weather for a few weeks, i have to admit that I’m just not up to my usual game. I will be catching up real soon but I’m the meantime, i thought I’d share the update on our boy, Chance. And, also ask for your prayers for not only Chance but our Muffins who will be going to OVRS tomorrow. Paws crossed and again thank you for your financial support. -diana

Hi everybody! So here are some pics & video from Chances appointment today at Pawsitive Steps Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine . Under each pic explains what you are looking at. These are x-rays and ultrasound, but unfortunately although they do let us see some things, they don’t let see other things with soft tissue, bones and organs which is why we need the neuro scans. You can see signs of disk disease, but not if he has a herniated disk. You can see calcification in his kidneys, but you cant see if there stones imbedded or if there’s stones in his urethra. Or cancer. We just don’t know. That’s why these scans are so important. Everything obvious has been treated for and nothing is working, it has to be something we aren’t seeing. His appointment at Dogwood Veterinary Referral Center cant come soon enough. Thankyou to everyone who has donated so far to his fundraiser (link is below) – Denise

and thankyou 4 Paws 1 Heart for being there for Chance every step of his journey.

Chance’s spine. You see how everything is in a nice straight line until you get to the part where the circle and arrows are? Dr. Kern thinks that may be the sight of the original injury that paralyzed Chance 7yrs ago right before he came to us. Its possible there may now be a herniated disk but you cant see that without a mri. He has signs of disk disease as well.
