3/20/23 – Thunder had his surgery last week (see post from March 9). He showed up at the rescuer’s home with a severe wound on his side which was abscessed. The infection was much worse than thought but he came out of surgery like a champ and now he’s a permanent member of the family and loves to cuddle. His mom and rescuer reported that Thunder seems to know how lucky he is and is very sweet and loving. A huge thanks to the staff of Orion Animal Hospital for taking such good care of the many animals we help.- diana.
