9/1/23 – You may have seen the post asking for help for this poor stray cat who appeared to have a broken jaw. Allison and her mom stepped up to get Marble and arrangements were made to get him into Orion Animal Hospital where he was seen this morning. Unfortunately, his injuries were too severe and it was decided by the rescuer and doctor to end his suffering. Today he crossed the Rainbow Bridge no longer suffering.

As an added note, I was later advised that a neighbor had told Allison’s mom that Marble had been intentionally hurt. The suffering and abuse of the stray animals in our communities can be overwhelming to learn. We must continue to work as village to do whatever we can to make a difference. – diana
