GREY

10/25/23 – Grey was found and rescued from the streets with a hurt paw. His rescuer thought it might be broken. We authorized his visit to Orion Animal Hospital and the issue was a deep wound which was treated. Grey was also tested, vaccinated, and neutered and his rescuer reports he is doing well and that she is working very hard to socialize him so that he can find his furever family. – diana

WILLIE

10/25/23 – It was late August when we were contacted about Willie who had been attacked by a dog and was not able to be rescued before his ears were damaged. The finder said that both of his ears blew up like balloons. When we were contacted, we authorized Willie’s exam and he was able to get in and his ear were treated and drained as needed. Later he was seen at Orion Animal Hospital where the doctor re-examined the ears which were healing and he was scheduled for his vaccines, snap test, and neuter. Today he is doing well. – diana

HAPPY UPDATE ON JACK (AKA ORANGE)

10/25/23 – First, thought, check back on our prior posts of September 13 and 19 which follow Jack’s very difficult journey. The other day his rescuer, Angie, sent us this update:

“Jack is doing absolutely amazing! He had his feeding tube removed today, since we haven’t used it in two weeks. He’s up to 10.4 pounds! His mouth still has a little healing to do, but it’s looking great! He’ll probably be ready to go to his forever home in a week, when this round of antibiotics are finished. I’m gonna miss my work buddy immensely, but I’m grateful I was able to help get him healthy again.

I can’t thank you enough for giving him a chance! -Angie”

Without the donations from our supporters, abandoned and stray animals like Jack would have been euthanized because there would be no one to help with his significant medical needs. Thank you to the many individuals (all over this Country) who believe in us enough to share their hard-earned money and make a difference in the lives of so many animals and the humans who rescue them. – diana
