10/24/23 – On September 8, we were contacted about a stray cat who needed help. His eye was severely injured. The woman who had been seeing Dexter roaming the neighborhood and then noticed his eye knew he needed help but she didn’t have any means to trap him. She contacted 4 Paws 1 Heart and I told her if she could find someone to help with trapping we could help with the medical. That was done and the trapper took him to Five Mile Medical Hospital. Dr. Mina contacted me and advised that his eye would need to be removed. I authorized the surgery and it was completed September 29. Dexter is doing well. His rescuer is fostering him but Dexter needs to find a furever loving home, so if anyone is interested in this sweet boy, please contact Melissa, at: [email protected]
