I wanted to share Courtney’s post because it so sadly shows what a dog must go through when he contracts heart worm. Courtney is a member of the Orion Animal Hospital staff. She contacted us initially to see if we could help. Courtney has been fostering Koa and will continue to do so while he goes through his treatment. Koa is much loved in Courtney’s home and at the hospital. Unfortunately, these poor neglected and abused animals have no idea why they are going through the pain humans inflict on them but we do find much comfort in knowing that 4 Paws 1 Heart can be part of the solution to give them that second chance at a loving life.
