KOBE UPDATE

1/6/24 – We were thankful to be able to help Kobe yesterday with his last heart worm treatment. Kobe was left behind after his owner moved out. When he was rescued, he was tired, hungry, and lying under a bush at the house where he used to live. Neighbors recognized him and told Make a Difference Rescue the family had moved about two weeks prior and, obviously, left him behind. After a good meal the rescue took Kobe to get examined. He had hook worms, whip worms, and was heart worm positive. He is is less than two years old and has been forced to live a horrific life. Kobe’s journey to a better, healthier life began when he was rescued in August, 2023 by an amazing rescue organization and when they contacted 4 paws 1 heart for medical assistance. You can follow Kobe’s journey on our website or the facebook page of Make a Difference Rescue. Kobe will be ready for a permanent, loving home in about 40 days. Never forget that saving the lives of innocent animals who have been let down by humans cannot be done in a vacuum — it truly takes a village. – diana
