CHANCE VIDEO

2/11/24 – Chance’s second chance began the day he was driven from the Genesee County Shelter to Clinton Twp. By a kind employee of DTE. And with a lot of love from his new family and the expertise of Dr. Kern (Hercules’ mom) and her staff, Chance was eventually able to walk. – diana

MOM: Good Sunday morning Team I thought you might enjoy this video I put together of Chance a couple years ago. I have to tell you when Chance came to me in 2015 I was clueless about paralyzed cats! No idea how to express a bladder, help with . Knew nothing about laser, accupunture, kitty physical therapy, oh gosh…sooo many things. But we learned together and Chance was always so patient with me. He changed my life in ways I could have never imagined. And sooo many have came becuse of Chance. All the bottle babies and preemies. Injured and sick, seniors, Carlos who was hospice, Carla who is rear paralyzed. He always looked at me like “come on mom, we got this…I’ll help you! ” Chance made sure so many others got their Second Chance, becuse he got his.The reality of it is, without 4 Paws 1 Heart…there would have not been that amazing, amazing gentle, determined, spirited, hilarious, life changing SuperHero Chance. Nor would there be a Bridgette, Carla, Trixie, Twyla, Bobbi and even Baby. They all came in under emergency circumstances under the loving wing of 4p1h. Together with 4 Paws 1 Heart we will continue to make sure his legacy will continue through the lives that will continue to be saved. If you would like to help please make a donation in Chances Memory to..

CHANCE REMEMBERED BY HIS MOM

2/10/24 – A tribute to our Super Hero, Chance. So many prayers for his family.

Hey there Team, mom here. Please just let me just say that the outpouring of love and support from all of you has been overwhelming! I had no idea how many people loved Chance as much as we do. Your kind words, thoughts, messages, texts and pictures those of you have sent of yourselves with Chance mean soooo very much to me. I just can’t begin to thank all of you enough for all the love, truly thank you From the very beginning 9yrs ago until his last breath yesterday Chance always wanted to do more, go faster, stand taller, walk & run and be a SuperHero..and he did!!! Then he always wanted to help others in need. He was the best big foster brother and Uncle Chance to sooo many foster kittens, cats and dogs too. He wanted to make sure all the hungry kittys…homeless, foster or just those in need had full bellys…and with your help he did!!! He wanted to make sure that homeless kittys needing medical help got the help they needed like he did. He raised thousands of dollars with your help for 4 Paws 1 Heart and he was their feline mascot. His love for others knew no bounds. Even in the end it was he, comforting me. His heart was just so big that his poor body couldn’t support it so he went on to where he could always be healthy, his spinal cord would be normal and he would be pain free. A place where he can take care of everyone he loves. We will continue his love & legacy on our page and in our lives by continuing to make sure hungry tummys are filled and homeless, abused and abandoned animals receive the medical care they need and deserve. With that being said we invite everyone who can to please celebrate Chances life by making a donation in his memory to his beloved 4 Paws 1 Heart at… https://4paws1heart.org/donation/ and please note that’s its in Memory of Chance For those who donated for Chances care yesterday, thank you so much. It will go towards his bill at the emergency hospital. Thank you. Thank you all again for your love & support. Oliver, Bridgette & Carla are taking his loss the hardest, my heart breaks for them. And no, we are not okay. But we are working on it one minute at a time. We love you all, goodnight Team P.S. Please share

MEET PANTHER

This handsome fella was found as a stray. He is super friendly and about 9 months old. We are covering his neuter and vaccines to help get him ready for a forever family. If you are interested I can put you in touch with the rescuer for more information. Thank you to our supporters because we couldn’t give animals like Panther the vetting they need without you. Isn’t he beautiful?! Gina

CHANCE

2/9/24- To say that all of our hearts are broken would be an understatement. We are devastated at the loss of our super hero and feline mascot, Chance. His journey, as so eloquently told by his mom and our Board member, Denise Najera, was an inspiration for all who followed him. Since his rescue 9 years ago, Chance was able to raise thousands of dollars in donations. Those dollars were used to save so many stray and broken animals just like he was at one time. Chance’s legacy will live on in all of those animals whose lives were changed because of him. Please remember Mom Denise, Aunt Shelly, and Team Chance in your prayers. Here he is with Uncle T just before being interviewed for WDIV. – diana.

We are so grateful to you Diana Rascano and 4 Paws 1 Heart for being there for our beautiful boy when he came into our life, you never left his side in 9yrs and was there for him when he took his last breath. He had a beautiful life because of you and all who donate to 4 Paws. I am eternally grateful for the 9 years of unbelievable love we were able to share with Chance and he, with all of us. His legacy will continue, we will make sure of that. Thankyou for 9yrs of the most amazing love and deep bond with our Forever SuperHero – Denise

3 BABIES & THEIR MOM RESCUED WILL NEED HOMES OR A RESCUE

These three 12 week old babies and the mom were going to be tossed outside until someone stepped up. The rescuer took them into her home when they were only a few days old. She covered the costs of spay/neutering for all of them. The black kitten became sick with bloodclots in his stool and for fear of his survival we offered to help. That’s when I found out the woman needed assistance with kitten food. A call was put out on my page and the babies are fully stocked up and already gaining weight. They all need homes or a rescue. Please contact her if you can help. [email protected] Jordan. We will be covering vaccines for all of them. Gina

MIA

On Friday night I saw that 4 Paws 1 Heart was tagged many times on an emergency post. I was afraid to wait until Monday, so yesterday morning I met the rescuer of this baby at the vet. They are calling her “Mia”. She was found about 1 week ago emaciated with ice caked over her ears and tail. She is all bones. Even her nose is raw.

Her flesh is rotting on the tips of her ears and tail. A full tail amputation is needed and the tips of her ears need to be cut off where the tissue is dead. Her paw pads all have frostbite, but we are not anticipating they will require surgery.

We are still on a hold for big cases but we cannot let her suffer. The doctor at Moore Vet, Dr. Henry, started her on antibiotics and pain meds and she was kind enough to squeeze her in for surgery on Tuesday.

The estimated cost for surgery is $500-$600 and then she will need vaccines, combo test, worming, and spay surgery. About $900 when all is done. We cannot do this without the help of others. Please consider donating today. Gina
