MISTER UPDATE

12/4/23 – Happy Update on the first day of our $2500 Christmas Match.

Mister’s journey was posted on November 8, 2023. The other day we received the following update with some updated photos:

“Mister did great at his vet appt. Dr.Zalac is happy with how he’s doing. He gained 1.5 lbs over 3 weeks and he’s playing and jumping more than ever before this past week. Most importantly, his temperature was normal. He is now healthy enough to get his vaccines and they will do one final round of blood work on Dec 11th to verify it all looks good. His neuter is scheduled for January 3rd. He is an amazing cat and it seems he finally might be in the clear and will be ok. Thank you for making this all possible. I truly believe that without our intervention and the care that you’ve funded, he wouldn’t have made it out on the streets. – Allison” – diana

DOTTIE

12/4/23. Dottie is at the hospital and will need closure of the wound. I posted a pic of what it looks like now. This will be the 3rd surgery. Please send positive thoughts for her procedure that we will do tomorrow morning. Gina

About 6 weeks ago, Dottie was found with her leg stuck in her collar for such a long time that the collar was embedded in her skin resulting in a traumatic opening and almost losing her leg. 4 Paws 1 Heart responded to providing medical care when the animal control of that city did nothing. Dottie may need a 3rd surgery to close the wound. We will be re-checking her tomorrow. You can follow her story on our page and on our website. Donations are needed to give stray injured animals like her a chance for treatment. Please don’t forget that our $2,500 match starts tomorrow so your donations will be doubled! Gina

LUCCA

December 4th through 18th your donation will be matched!!! Now is the best time because that means what you give will be DOUBLED the amount to help us give animals like Lucca a second chance!

A couple of months ago, her rescuer reached out to us for help with vetting after finding her abandoned. She needed the basics along with some treatment for giardia and an infection. The rescuer could not afford to get her protected from disease or cover her necessary puppy requirements like food and supplies. Lucca is just another example of the countless stray, abandoned, injured, animals that need our help. Please donate today. Gina

4 KITTENS

Meet this 4 kitten duo. They were rescued from a hoarding situation and all 4 were in desperate need of care. 4 Paws 1 Heart was on a hold at the time, yet we were able to do minimal diagnostics, dewormer, and antibiotics. Most of the care came from Deb, Jo, and Char. If you are interested in more information or adoption please message Char Dean – https://www.facebook.com/charlene.a.dean. These 4 babies will still need vaccines and fixing. If you would like to donate: Gina

$2500 CHRISTMAS MATCH BEGINS DECEMBER 4, 2023

12/1/23 – Yes, another generous supporter who does this annually contacted us to say it is time to raise more money for all of those stray and abandoned animals needing our help. The donor will match total donations made between December 4 and December 18 up to $2,500. 99.99% of all donations are spent on the medical needs of animals like Bosco and only YOU can give them that second chance at life.

I was contacted yesterday by Make a Difference Rescue. They had been contacted about two dogs needing to be surrendered but by the time the rescue got there, the people had let them out and one of the dogs got hit by a car and killed. The rescue was able to save the second dog and took care of the immediate medical needs but yesterday we were asked to help with the basic medical which included vaccines and neuter for Bosco. I’m sorry I don’t know which of these dogs is Bosco but I will get more information later and post an updated photo. – diana

MEET SWEET SHEILA – AND TIMMY

Her mom is a feral cat that had 2 kittens born outside. Her rescuer, Amy, contacted 4 Paws 1 Heart a few months ago needing help with vetting for the babies. We offered to pay for vaccines, spaying and neutering. Sheila was seen by Dr Burcham this week and she checked out healthy so now we can schedule her surgery. Isn’t she adorable? Thank you Amy for saving her and her brother Timmy! Gina
