4 Paws 1 Heart funds medical treatment for the abandoned and abused. Without donations we could not make a difference in the lives of the many animals who have come through the doors of emergency or who have come to our attention by rescue organizations and individual rescuers. Every day we try to show you where your hard-earned money is spent by posting their stories. On this ‘Giving Tuesday’ I thought it only appropriate to again highlight one of our first major cases, Peanut. Peanut was brought in to the emergency by a caring man who had seen Peanut’s lifeless body laying in the corner of a family member’s home. When Peanut came in, he couldn’t lift his head to eat. Gina really didn’t know if he could be saved. But with our medical dollars, the great staff at the emergency, Gina’s love, and later the love and attention of his forever mom, Mary, Peanut is alive and well and living in Florida during the winter. Now that is one lucky dog!! All made possible through the love and donations of our supporters. ~ diana
