3/13/26: Gandalf Update. I just had to share this sweet boy. He’s got drain tubes in his neck from terribly infected wounds, but his spirit is gentle and grateful. This is why we do what we do.
3/10/26 Update: What we thought was one wound turned out to be much more.
Gandalf was seen over the weekend where he was neutered and treated for a neck wound. When his rescuer picked him up, another wound was discovered — severely infected and needing immediate care.
Thankfully, Centerline Veterinary Hospital stepped up and got him in right away yesterday so he could be placed under anesthesia and have the wound flushed and cleaned.
His medical care has now exceeded $1,000, reminding us that we often don’t know the true extent of injuries until we step in to help.
One of the photos is simply too graphic to share.
The good news is that Gandalf is recovering, and most importantly he will never have to live outside again.
This little guy was given a second chance, and we are grateful to be part of his journey because of the compassion and support of you.

3/4/26: This is Gandalph.
Thank you to All About Animals Rescue for getting this guy in for surgery right away. I will update once we know more.
We were contacted about this handsome guy who needs medical attention. The rescuer also needs assistance with trapping him.
He is located near the Buddhist Temple on 9 Mile Road. Please contact Laura at llang1204@wowway.com if you can assist and we will approve funding for medical to get him help.
It breaks my heart that there are so many like him who are homeless and deserve so much better.
Thank you
