5/23/25 – This baby kitten named “Kerrygold” was found with a very large umbilical hernia. She is only 1.8 pounds and surgery on a kitten this small is a risk. However, not doing surgery is also very dangerous because the intestines can become strangulated and she could die.
We have approved covering the surgery and it will be performed at Comfort’s Place Veterinary Hospital, so that this baby can get the care she needs.
