12/26/14 – On this day after Christmas, we continue to feel blessed that because of our generous supporters, we are able to help our rescue friends when they have difficult cases Hope is one of those. A Rejoyceful Animal Rescue answered a call for help. This beautiful female was lying on the front lawn of a home in Detroit; she kept trying to get up but couldn’t. Upon arriving at Wilson Veterinary, she was found to be pregnant, have multiple breaks in her pelvis and leg, potential damage to her organs, and the skin on one side of her leg was scraped off by having been dragged. It became clear early on that none of the babies she was carrying could be saved and she remained in critical condition. It is now a few days later and, thankfully, she is improving.
