7/30/24 – On July 24 we posted Ebony’s story. A very sweet kitty who showed up (with a playmate) at a firehouse. The organization SniP was contacted and they contacted us for assistance. Poor little Ebony had a degloved tail and need it to be amputated.
Here is the happy update received 7/29/24: “Ebony did wonderful with her tail amputation (and spay) surgery today! Darcy was extremely grateful for the financial assistance and wanted me to convey her gratitude. Thank you so much, Diana!!
7/30/24 – On 4/17/23 we posted about sweet Bianca. She had showed up at the finder’s door at 1 a.m. Laura, Bianca’s, rescuer advised that because they live in the ‘country’ they often have animals dumped on their property. Laura and her husband took Bianca into their garage to keep her safe and asked for medical assistance. Laura was hesitant to let Bianca mingle with her pets until Bianca could be checked.
We authorized a quick appointment at Groesbeck Animal Hospital where she was tested, vaccinated for rabies, and dewormed. Later Bianca was taken to Patterson Veterinary Hospital for the remaining vaccines and spay.
Yesterday I received the following happy update: “I wanted to share some updated photos of our baby girl, Bianca. Thank you for helping with the vet costs to get her taken care of in the start. Bianca was treated well at Patterson! This beautiful girl has sooooooo much personality and has been an amazing addition to our family. She has helped mend the relationship between two of my other cats. I wanted to share how amazing she is and how great her life is thanks to you helping me keep her!
