UPDATE: 2/3/22 – THE CRUELTY NEVER SEEMS TO END. Stanley was able to get in for his appointment this morning. X-Rays were done and the good news is that Stanley’s legs have no breaks or fractures. The bad news is that our doctor saw bb’s, one very close to his lungs. The doctor couldn’t tell the damage done by the bb’s but did give some medication. She advised that if Stanley doesn’t get better, he sould be seen by a neurologist. I asked Stanley’s rescuer to keep me informed.
2/1/22 – Please pray that this sweet boy, Stanley, can make his appointment this Thursday. Here is his story as told to me a two days ago:”Hello one of the cats I did TNR on came to the porch dragging his foot, maybe 2 feet, he fell over when he tried to get away from me. I want to bring him in and make him a house cat even though i can’t touch him. I just feel it would be safer, but right now i have an old dog and 2 cats that need to get into the vet. I couldn’t take him to emergency tonight because i know i can’t afford it. I want to try and get him in tomorrow or asap, is this something you help with??”Unfortunately, any of the vets nearer to the rescuer were full for the next couple weeks, but our great doctors at Orion Animal Hospital are able to get him in on Thursday. I hope his injuries are just from the snow and not being able to eat. But, at least he is now safe and warm. – Diana.4paws1heart.org/donations/
