Left Behind, Mack’s Given a Second Chance
6/24/26 Mack was found in a stolen U-Haul truck in 90 degree temperature inside. Upon exam at the veterinary hospital, he tested positive for Heartworm disease.
Sterling Heights Animal Control reached out to us for help with funds for Heartworm Treatment because this is a costly disease, and without help Mack likely would have been euthanized.
We offered to commit to $850 toward treatment, and he goes in for an exact consultation and estimate next week.
A wonderful rescue stepped up to give Mack the life he deserves and they will find permanent placement while spoiling him in the meantime.
To find out more about adopting Mack go to Great Lakes Bully Briage.
If you would like to donate towards the funds we have committed to please go to or link or send a check. Because of you we can make a difference one life at a time!
