SNOWBALL – Another Life Thrown Out

10/14/14 Where does such cruelty come from? We have had far too many cases of cats who were once loving pets being thrown outside. Where is the humanity?~ diana
“This is Snowball! Snowball is a very special cat, requiring a very special home Snowball was left behind when his irresponsible owners moved, left outside to fend for himself. If that is not traumatic enough, Snowball is DEAF! On top of that when he went in today for his neuter & shots they found he was FIV positive. FIV is most certainly not a death sentence, and most live long happy lives. It is not contagious, you cant get it, your dog cant get it. It can only be transmitted through a deep bite wound to another cat. I believe that Snowball was probably attacked by another cat that had fiv. Snowball is extremely loving & gentle. You don’t have to hear to give & receive love. Thank you 4 Paws 1 Heart for once again taking care of the vetting for another innocent life!”
Update:  10/23/14 Poor Snowball had an abssnowballw:joadd10:14:14cess that wasn’t visible until it burst.  Once again, 4 Paws 1 Heart stepped up for him.  Gina cleaned the wound and the doctors provided medication for the infection.  He acts like a different cat.  He was obviously in pain unbeknownst to everyone.

SPAY, NEUTER, VACCINATE – RIP Sweet Puppy

10/14/14 – Rest in peace sweet puppy… Yesterday 4 paws 1 heart received a plea for help regarding this puppy who was very sick. This very nice family rescued him 2 days ago, and suddenly he went downhill fast. They were not prepared to take on this very sick puppy, but they were trying to save him and they did not want to see him suffer. They surrendered him to us, but he was so sick he couldn’t be helped. We ran some diagnostic testing and discovered he was in liver and kidney failure. He was only 8 weeks old. His skin was yellow, his gums yellow, and he had straight blood coming from his rear. Humane euthanasia helped prevent this puppy from further suffering. There are so many puppies in shelters that get put down every day because there are not enough homes. Please spay or neuter your pet to prevent pregnancies. Help decrease the population of unwanted animals. To many puppies and kittens die every day as a result of virus and illnesses. So before you buy that special breed.. Prevention, prevention, prevention… It hurts my heart to have to put down babies, so if I can get one person here to listen and encourage another person to spay or neuter…. ginaRIP Puppy 10:14:14
