How Can Any Caring Person Walk Away From Their Loyal Pet — It Happens Every Day

6/18/14 – We’ve had lots of happy stories lately so let’s work together to create one more and let’s find this sweetheart a home. Buddy is a 2 year-old female with kittens who were all left behind when the owners moved. (yes, I know, who in the heck does this??). In any case, the rescuer has kept her in a garage but now needs to find a home (foster would be OK) by Saturday because she is having visitors. Buddy had 5 kittens, two died but homes were found for the other three. PLEASE, let’s get her into a home, even if it’s temporary. Contact joadd18@gmail.com ~ diana p.s. 4p1h will pay for spaying and any other vaccinations needed.

Ryker is so ready for his Fur-ever home.

Who wants to love me???

Ryker had two very potential homes lined up, but they both fell through for different reasons. We are looking for a good home for this little guy that was attacked by two German Shepherds. 4 Paws 1 Heart took care of all of his medical bills and as a result of his serious injuries his rear leg had to be amputated. If you are the home we are looking for please contact me at gina.4paws1heart@gmail.com. Ryker is terrified of dogs, so I will not place him in a home with dogs. He is neutered, vaccinated, friendly, and will require a home with lots of love to give.. Please let’s work together to find him that special home. ~ gina

Kitties Kitties Kitties and more Kitties!

Honest, we are helping dogs and you’ll be hearing about them soon but, in the mean time, there’s some more babies and their mom who were helped by 4P1H. Bootsie, the mom was spayed and the kittens have been vetted and vaccinated. Again, thank you to Jo A. for saving this family and making sure they will live and not continue to produce more unwanted cats. Anyone interested in adopting these babies should contact Jo at joadd18@gmail.com~ diana

Ryker Update!

Ryker update..  Ryker is happy and loving just waiting for that purrrrrfect home.  We had to amputate one of his rear legs after he was attacked by two large dogs but that hasn’t changed his loving personality.  Ryker is now terrified of dog’s but he’d be happy in a home where he can be spoiled!!

Mustang is famous!

To all of our friends in the Grosse Pointes and St. Clair Shores: Keep a lookout for Mustang’s story in the June 5 edition of the St. Clair Shores Connection and the Grosse Pointe News. A huge thank you goes out to Dr. Balaj of Harper Woods Veterinary Hospital and the Animal Urgent and Critical Care Center for giving us this opportunity each month. ~ diana

Princess Hannah needs a furever LAP!

Happy Memorial Day! Miss Princess Hannah is out of ‘jail’ and with a wonderful foster family. Here’s hoping that all go well for this sweety and the foster parents become foster failures. lol ~ diana
5/22/14 – Good Morning from Princess Hannah: The Princess is part Bengal so you can imagine how beautiful she is. She is about 1 year old, spayed, dewormed, vaccinated, and very, very friendly. She’s been ‘locked up’ for a while and would love to spend her days on someone’s lap. Would you contact Gina at gina.4paws1heart@gmail.com if you would like to give her a home. ~ diana

Can you donate to Ryker’s Recovery?

Ryker update, our strong little man has recovered from his surgeries after a major attack from dogs.. The last of his stitches come out in a couple days.  Athough we had to amputate his right rear he is doing great!!!! If you would like to donate towards the cost of his surgeries we are super greatful for any help. It allows us to keep giving second chances to strays in need of medical. Gina

Here Kittens Kittens Kittens…..

The Kittens just keep coming! A rescue friend in Jackson Michigan has again reached out for help in her efforts to reduce the overpopulation of cats. The three were born in her garage and although she’s been trying to trap and spay the mom, she had not been successful until last night. So 4 Paws 1 Heart will help with spaying the mom and we were happy to help with the medical needs of these babies, especially for one who was very sick but is now doing much better. ~ diana
