When a young girl with a big heart asked for help for Moose and Mouse, two stray kitties at risk of reproducing again, we couldn’t say no. Together, we’re making sure these young strays receive the care they need to prevent more homeless kittens.
Kai has been surviving outside in the Grosse Pointe area for months. She disappeared, returned pregnant, and is now suffering from an eye injury. Though she wears a collar, no one has stepped forward until a Good Samaritan reached out. Because of you, we’re able to say yes when they have no one else.
Just before Valentine’s Day, Bubba was found outside with a severe leg injury that couldn’t be saved. He needed emergency amputation to survive. Though FIV positive, his doctor believed he had a real chance at a good life so we approved his surgery. Today, Bubba is safe with a rescue and recovering.
Found outside with a massive abdominal hernia, sweet Luna needed urgent surgery. We approved her care immediately, and Comfort Place stepped in without hesitation. Today she’s recovering and on a new path, thanks to a good Samaritan, a dedicated vet team, a rescue partner, and your support of our mission.
Because Emma chose compassion, Marshall, Francis, Katie, Skye, Tessa, and Everjean are now safe and headed for spay/neuter and vaccinations. We’re covering their medical care so they can grow up healthy — and help stop the cycle of more homeless litters.
