CHANCE

3/3/23 – Our Superhero now has to wear a diaper/protective pants because of the continuous leaking of urine that cannot be controlled because of early spinal injuries which probably was the reason for his paralysis. But even with that, he’s always thinking of ways to promote 4 Paws 1 Heart. He’s such a little cutie!! – diana.

OLIVE ALSO NOW NEEDS A HOME

3/2/23 – This is Olive. She was recently trapped and seen at All About Animals. Thankffully she was trapped because the poor girl is 6+ years old, has barely any teeth, and was full of tapeworm and was suffering from severe congestion. Aimee, her rescuer, believes she had been someone’s pet at one time. Olive was spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for her congestion. Olive also tested negative for FelV and FIV. Anyone interested in giving her a loving home should contact Aimee at: [email protected] In the meantime, Olive is safe and warm. – diana

RALPHIE WILL NOW NEED A FUREVER HOME

3/1/23 – Meet Ralphie. A woman found him on the streets and him for a couple of months until she decided that she could no longer keep him. She was going to give him away free on Facebook but our friends at Make A Difference Rescue saw the post and stepped in. We were contacted before Ralphie was picked up to see if we could fund his medical treatment. We did; and Ralphie is now in a foster home and will be adopted through the Rescue. Today Ralphie was neutered, received all of the appropriate vaccines, and was tested for heart worm. He is doing great and will be looking for his furever home. – diana

STELLA AND CUJO NEED A HOME TOGETHER IN THEIR FINAL YEARS

2/28/23 – These very sweet and bonded seniors needed us and will need you! Cujo and Stella were abandoned when their owner died. Cujo is estimated to be 7-8 years old and Stella is estimated to be 9-11 years old. They were both in very bad shape when they were rescued by Renea. Cujo and Stella have an appointment tomorrow with one of our partner vets to be vaccinated, spayed/neutered (if the vet thinks it’s needed at their age), treated for fleas, worm, and nails that are growing into their paws. The rescuer tried separating the two when she rescued them (one would stay with the rescuer and one would be fostered by Renea’s sister) but both of them stopped eating and cried the entire 3 days they were apart. So now, they are both with Renea’s sister. Stella also has a grape-sized growth on her back that will be examined and treated as needed. So, once again, so, many animals whether thrown outside, born outside, or just abandoned because an owner died and no one wanted them, needed our help and because of our many supporters and great veterinarians and staffs, we were able to say ‘yes’.

If there is anyone who would love to give these two a loving home in their final years, please contact Renea at: [email protected]

Thank you, as always. – diana.

WARRIOR

2/27/23 – Warrior was finally trapped by our Board member, Melissa, during the night. She has been a kitty angel for the strays who luckily find their way into her property. Warrior was pretty beat up with several open wounds. He was taken early this morning to All About Animals where he will be neutered and vaccinated but first his wounds were treated and he received an antibiotic injection. Warrior will then spend the next couple of days inside while he recovers and then released. – diana.

If warrior doesn’t show feral attitude I will try my best to find warrior a warm house. Wish I could take everyone of them and I would warrior was caught in Sterling Heights Maple Lane between 14 and 15. – Melissa
