Asher is Scheduled for Surgery
9/11/24 Asher is scheduled for amputation surgery of his front leg in the morning. Please keep him in your prayers that he does well, and if you can donate to Asher we certainly appreciate any help. I will be assisting with his surgery and keep everyone updated as soon as he is recovered. He gas been through so much since his rescuer found him In July.
We have been doing everything we can possibly do to help him. Gina https://4paws1heart.org/donations/
Paws Crossed for Diego
9/11/24 – FIRST — Let me apologize to our supporters who have generously donated in the past couple weeks to help the stray animals being born and left out on our streets. Unfortunately, my amazing 93 year old dad passed away this past Sunday after almost 6 weeks in home hospice and I’ve been embarrassingly slow in recognizing those donations. BUT I have tried to stay somewhat current in at least continuing to help those animals in need.
This is Diego. He was recently rescued by an independent rescuer we have assisted in the past. Unfortunately, he tested for heart worm a month ago and the rescuer was able to take care of the first 30 days of medication but she asked for our assistance with his injections which we are doing.
Paws crossed for this very abused boy who was left at the rescuer’s door step. – diana https://4paws1heart.org/donations/
Meet Benny
9/4/24 – Meet Benny. Last week he was found as a terrified stray. He’s only about 9 weeks old. We offered to get him checked out so that the rescuer could bring him inside to safety.
His siblings were running and couldn’t be caught, but they are still looking for them. Benny has so far checked out healthy. 4 paws 1 heart will be there for him to get his vaccinations and his neutering. We are able to help homeless kittens like Benny because of you. Here is Benny at his check-up about to get his first vaccine! You are safe and will never go hungry again!

Ozzie, Ziggie, Cassie, Saphire, Roxie, and Velcro Were Rescued
9/3/24 – Ozzie, Ziggie, Cassie, Saphire, Roxie, and Velcro were rescued from a hoarding situation. 4 paws 1 heart covered the testing, vaccinations, and spay/neuter for 5 of the 6 but it was determined that poor little Velcro needs his eye removed.
We have agreed to share the cost of the eye removal and spay with the rescuer in that we’ve committed to several severe cases that still need to be completed.
Prayers for these sweet orphans. – diana https://4paws1heart.org/donations/
Minnie and Her Kittens Were Rescued
9/3/24 – Minnie (mom), Whiskers, Sherbert, Chestnut, and Walnut (children) were rescued from a neighborhood swarming with stray cats.
A kind woman saw the family and took them in but asked them for our help in getting the mom test, and the family vaccinated and spayed/neutered. – diana https://4paws1heart.org/donations/
A declawed kitty who was “cruelly abandoned”
9/2/24 – An independent rescuer, Barbara, whom we’ve helped in the past contacted us on August 12 about a declawed kitty who was “cruelly abandoned” and left outside by his owners.
He had several injuries from being preyed on by other animals. We were asked to help. Graham was seen at Orion Animal Hospital where he was treated with an antibiotic shot and a cortisone shot! He received his vaccines and was also treated for diarrhea.
Graham and Barb sent their ‘thank you’ to all who made this possible. – diana https://4paws1heart.org/donations/
Princess Hanson Needs Leg Amputation
8/29/24 – Yesterday I received a call from our friend, Courtney, from Orion Animal Hospital. She had been contacted by a homeowner her found a beautiful, sweet kitten living under her shed with a leg fracture.
Unfortunately, after Dr. Zalac examined the kitty, Princess Hanson, it was determined that the leg would need to be amputated. We were asked if we could help and Courtney would take care of her until a home could be found. Unfortunately, we’ve had several requests to assist animals needing amputations and eye removals and donations have been slow. It was decided that Courtney would seek donations and we would share in the medical costs. Princess Hanson is scheduled for surgery next week.
Keep her in your prayers. – diana https://4paws1heart.org/donations/
Beautiful Cat, Key-Key
8/28/24 – The beautiful cat, Key-Key, kept hanging around his rescuer’s mobile home. The mom and daughter were finally able to gain Key-Key’s trust and asked if we could help with basic vetting.
The mom takes care of her elderly dad and they are unable to pay for the medical but want to keep the cat. We authorized Key-Key’s test, vaccines, and neuter and when the mom told her daughter of the good news, her daughter began to cry.
She was so happy that they could keep this sweetheart. – diana https://4paws1heart.org/donations/
Ader Found His Rescuer
8/28/24 – Ader found his rescuer as she was going for her morning walk. Maddie, Ader’s rescuer, fell in love and asked if we could help with medical.
We authorized visits at Anchor Bay Veterinary to get Ader examined, tested, and vaccinated. He has an appointment September 9 to be neutered and get his rabies vaccine.
