Healing the Hurt: Argo’s Journey Forward

5/25/26: This handsome guy named Argo was found as a stray in Detroit when just a little pup. He broke his leg and the pins were migrating out of the bone.

His rescuer gave him several months of shelter, medical care, food, socialization, love, safety and companionship. She reached out for help with the pin removal surgery and permanent placement.

We are not a rescue, so we do not do adoptions, but there was something thing about this guy that really touched my heart. After all that his rescuer had done to get him to a place where he was healthy and strong, I felt the need to take over where we could help which was funding for the medical.

I reached out to some rescue friends and Judy from Make A Difference rescue was willing to help with placement. We committed to covering the necessary surgery, vaccines, and neutering.

Now, Argo is neutered and the pins have been removed. I will update once I know more. Please consider donating to our mission so that we can keep being a resource for giving second chances to animals like Argo.
