From Forgotten to Finally Safe: Baby’s Second Chance

4/14/26: Baby was found in a trailer park in heartbreaking condition. She had green discharge from her vulva, wheezing from an upper respiratory infection, pregnant, anemic and bleeding from her face.

The kind person who found her rushed her to Advanced Animal Emergency, where she received an exam, X-rays, and treatments.

We stepped in to cover the cost of her care so the financial burden wouldn’t stand in the way of giving Baby a chance at a healthier, happier life.

She is now safe with a rescue, where she can continue healing and finally know what it feels like to be cared for.

There are so many cats just like Baby who need help. Please consider donating today so we can continue making a difference—four paws at a time.

Baby’s Rescue Journey: From Street to Safe

5/5/25 Meet Baby – This was a stray cat that Emily would often feed, and she contacted us for help when she noticed he had an abscess on his face, he was very frail, losing weight, and he was fading fast.

It was clear upon exam from the doctor that Baby was very sick. The hospital started with a feline leukemia/fiv test and a full blood panel right away. There was a systemic infection going on and the wound on his face was oozing pus. At only 6 pounds, skin and bones, loaded with fleas, and very dehydrated Baby wouldn’t have made it much longer. The doctor gave an antibiotic injection, flea prevention, fluids, and deworming.

Once he is strong enough, 4 Paws 1 Heart will cover his neuter and vaccines. The rescuer is keeping him inside and will find him a home. We were fortunate to assist with getting one more homeless cat off the street.

If you can help, please donate. Thank you <3
