From Stray to Strong: Flappy’s New Beginnings

5/8/25 Given another chance! Flappy was a stray cat found in bad shape. He was thin, matted, full of fleas, respiratory infection, worms, and he had given in to being captured as a stray. Over the last couple months we were able to get him the medical he needed. Yesterday he was strong and healthy enough for his neuter surgery! Everything went well, but the doctor noticed he had a lot of inflammation around his gums. They started antibiotics but there is a possibility he may need dental extractions in the future from Stomatitis. Flappy recovered well and if his rescuer can not find placement she will give him a forever home.

Happy new beginnings, Flappy!

Flappy and Peanut

4/9/25 – Flappy and Peanut were both strays being cared for by Jill C. Unfortunately, it took months for them to trust her to the point of just letting themselves be petted. Flappy needed to be fully vetted plus she had an upper respiratory infection. Peanut was seen limping and also needed to be fully vetted. Jill was finally able to trap them, and with our help get both cats treated, vaccinated, tested, and neutered. You can see from the photos that Flappy and Peanut were fast friends even before Jill gave them a furever home. – diana https://4paws1heart.org/donations/
