12/15/25: Last week, I came across a post on Facebook about an injured kitty in urgent need of help. Her paw was bleeding, and the finder was desperately trying to find someone who could step in.
We agreed to sponsor her medical care as long as temporary shelter and placement could be secured. Thanks to quick networking, she was seen right away at Nichols’ Veterinary Hospital, where she received excellent care. The veterinary team debrided the damaged tissue from her paw and started her on necessary medications.
Her name given was Forest. While we’re not yet sure if a rescue has officially stepped up, we’re happy to share that she is doing well at this time.
