Luna’s Lump Wasn’t the End, It Was the Beginning of Hope

2/24/26. Two weeks ago, a sweet kitty now named Luna was found outside with a massive lump hanging from her abdomen.

We approved her to be taken to Comfort Place Animal Hospital where she was diagnosed with a large abdominal hernia. Surgery was necessary — and they got her in right away.🙏

Today, she’s recovering, safe, loved, on a new path and a rescue group stepped up to find permanent placement.

Because of the good samaritan, the vet, the rescue, and your support in our mission, Luna was given hope.

Luna and Her Littermates

8/26/24 Luna and her littermates were found weeks ago. She is not thriving as well as the others so we had her checked out today at Moore Veterinary Hospital .

Her bloodwork was ok, temp on high end of normal, and she was underweight. We are going to check a poop sample and we began antibiotics in case she has something brewing. Also, sent her with some prescription high calorie wet food.

She ate some food for me and I’m hoping she bounces back. Gina https://4paws1heart.org/donations/
