11/14/25: We were contacted about two dogs in need of help, and thanks to a dedicated rescuer, they are now safe while seeking a permanent placement. Both Sophie and Lobo have tested positive for heartworm disease, and we have offered to cover their next round of treatment so they can continue on their path to recovery.

Sophie is a, 4-year-old shepherd mix who once lived with a family and young children. Sadly, she spent most of her life outdoors and only had limited interaction with the kids when they were outside. She also lived with her littermate, who—according to neighbors—was tragically shot by the owner, possibly due to illness. Despite her past, Sophie remains hopeful for a better future.
đź–¤ Lobo
Lobo is a, 4-year-old Rottweiler mix who has been bounced around since his owner became incarcerated. He stayed with a few relatives and neighbors, but none could provide the stable, permanent home he deserves.
Both dogs only want to heal, feel loved, and finally experience the stability they’ve been missing. Because of supporters like you, we’re able to step in and help dogs like Sophie and Lobo get the medical care they need.
