Once again, this past weekend, Cheryl Wagenaar (Snickers’ rescuer), rescued 4 kittens and this time it was Michelle Tennant Damron of Bully’s Angels who provided the transportation to the emergency. Unfortunately one kitten needed to be humanely euthanized because he was suffering from unknown causes. He was literally dying. The others, who were also sick but did not appear to be suffering, were given some basic medication to help get them through the weekend and keep them comfortable.
8/8/13: In my follow up with Cheryl, I learned that the smallest of the kittens did not survive but the remaining two are thriving and are now with a small rescue organization in Hamtramck. 4 Paws 1 Heart is very sorry that we couldn’t make the difference for all of them but we are happy that at least two kittens will have a second chance. Again, our sincere thanks to Cheryl and Michelle for rescuing these poor abandoned babies~ diana
