Patches – Found Wandering in a Busy Highway

Posted on April 18, 2015 by Diana

4/13/15 – It finally feels like Spring is here in Southeastern Michigan. And, if there was any doubt, just ask anyone who rescues or advocates for cats how many calls for help they’ve received about stray cats, moms and kittens. So be prepared to see a lot of kitten photos and call outs for fosters. BUT in the mean time, we are still here for our sweet canines. This handsome guy was brought into a local veterinary by a good Samaritan who found him walking on a main street. He has no identification, and, unfortunately, tested positive for heart worm. The good news is that the caring vet is going to help with the treatment, 4 Paws 1 Heart and another benefactor will cover the cost, and we already have an adopter who will take care of all other medical needs (including neutering) after the heart worm treatment is completed. Say a few prayers and send some positive energy for this boy. May the rest of his life be filled with much love. ~ dianaPatches(eastpointe)4:13:15
