Snickers – First Rescued in an Icy Puddle
7/6/15 – Many of our friends will remember our baby Snickers. He was found by a young man and his mom, crying in an alley in Hamtramck, MI. It was January, and his 5-week old, emaciated little body was just laying in an icy puddle with both eyes crusted shut. A village of people came together to get Snickers to Gina at the emergency but we thought he would lose an eye. After visiting one of our favorite eye specialists, Dr. Easton, Snickers eye was saved. Today he is a proud foster brother to many kittens taken in by his mom and dad and a brother and mentor to Bo and Ginger. ~ diana
