2/9/17 – Look at this beauty. Her name is Sky. Our great friend and kitty whisperer, Debra Berolatti, has been caring for a colony behind a local hotel. She has been feeding them daily and has built and maintained shelters and feeding stations for all of them. All with the cooperation of the great management of this hotel. The other day, this beauty came along. It was obvious she was not feral because Debra was able to get her into the carrier during yesterday’s torrential rains. Yesterday she was taken to the vet to be tested, vaccinated, and spayed. Not only was one life saved, but every kitten she would have had in the wild has been saved from what too often is a hard life filled with many dangers. It truly takes a village. ~ diana
