UPDATE: Pumpkin is holding his own but he can’t stand. The doctor is afraid of neurological damage. Please pray that isn’t the case. He will be under observation for another 24 hours. – diana
12/23/17 – Prayer Warriors Needed! This is Pumpkin. Last night I received a message from one of our followers asking if we could help this very sweet baby who was found lying in a Shelby Twp. backyard, lifeless. The person who contacted me and her mom were on their way to an emergency hospital. We, of course, said yes. When they got to the hospital, this poor baby had no temperature. The doctors immediately started providing heat and did blood work. At this time she seems to be stable but may be in the hospital for a few more days. The rescuer believes that Pumpkin was either a pet who had been dumped or a pet who had escaped – in either case, a domesticated cat cannot fend for themselves in the wild. Please also pray for the many animals who are out in the frigid temperatures, fending for themselves. Pumpkin is being placed on For the Love of Louie.
