Samantha – Was Going to be Taken to a Shelter Because Her Elderly Parent Couldn’t Handle the Puppiness

7/13/18 – Samantha was adopted as a young puppy by an elderly woman. Starting at 4 months old, the woman started having issues because she couldn’t deal with normal puppy energy. Samantha was never socialized properly or exercised. She might have never been on a leash or outside prior to being surrendered. The owner could not care for Sam any longer and she wanted to put her down. She didn’t feel that she had any other option until Gina offered to take her. Samantha was saturated in urine which made Gina think that she was never let outside to urinate. She’s very fearful on a leash but she’s getting better. Our good friends at I Heart Dogs has taken in Samantha and is currently looking for a foster or forever home. Please contact them if you are interested. They say she is very sweet once she gets to know you. We were happy to take care of basic medical needs. ~ dianasamantha 7:13:18
