12/26/19 – Happy Updates! I posted about Ryan and Judas this past October. Both had been pulled from a local municipal shelter. Ryan was just a newborn who lost two siblings and whose mom was hit and killed by a vehicle. After fighting other illnesses and parasites, Ryan contracted panleukopenia. After 12 days in the hospital, and 30 days in quarantine, Ryan is now out and about and doing great.
Judas is believed to be 14 years old. The poor guy was emaciated and after blood work was done, he was found to be in relatively good health. The challenge was to ‘fatten’ him up–carefully. The good news is that Judas was adopted this past Monday. We were thankful to be able to help in both of these cases – diana
