SEAGULL

1/22/24 – Seagull’s story started in October, 2023 when a very kind woman saw what she thought was 4-month old kitten in dire straits wandering in a mobile home park. The kitten had puss running from her mouth and ears. Seagull was taken to an emergency hospital where they treated her for an infection and recommended she be seen at a standard veterinary clinic. Seagull was taken to a vet where the doctor wanted to run tests and x rays and that is when we were contacted for help. We did provide assistance with the tests, x rays, and exam where Seagull was found to have a lesion in the back of her mouth. She was treated once again and arrangements were made to have Seagull (now identified as 7 months old) snap tested, vaccinated, and spayed at Comfort”s Place. While all of this was happening the rescuer was due to have a baby within a very short time. We talked a few times during the Christmas season while arrangements were trying to be made at Comfort’s Place. Then, on January 4, 2024 Seagull’s rescuer contacted me to report that she had her baby (Yeah) and Seagull was dropped off to be spayed. On January 10, I received another update — Seagull was doing well and the rescuer would try to find a furever home for Seagull but if unsuccessful, Seagull would have a home with her family. – diana
