12/24/25: Sweet Pea was found outside with a prolapsed rectum. She is the 2nd case we had in a row with this condition.
This is considered an emergency because if it is out too long, it can potentially never return back to normal, or the tissue can become necrotic and dye off.
We were contacted to see if we could help get her into the hospital for a check up, and once scheduled, the procedure was done that day.
She is having a few complications with going to the bathroom so she is on a strict diet and medication.
Her rescuer is very grateful that we were able to cover the medical costs and we hope that over time, she will completely heal.
Sweet pea is such a young little life that was out there on her own. Now she will have a chance of a forever, loving place to call home. Please keep her in your prayers for a full recovery.
