From Chet to Cheddar: A New Beginning
10/12/26: Chet needed emergency surgery after swallowing a sock. Sadly, this was not his first or second surgery to remove something he had ingested. His owner was no longer able to financially provide the care he needed and made the incredibly difficult decision to surrender him to a wonderful rescue so Chet could get the help he desperately needed.
Because of your generosity, we were able to help cover a portion of Chet’s surgery.
Chet, now known as “Cheddar”, is getting adopted this week by a great family that understands he’s known to eat things and will be keeping a very tidy home.
Cheddar is four years old, like his foster sister Nelly. They are buds and Nelly has helped his anxiety which could be another part of him eating things.
