1/20/26: Bruno was found outside, covered in wounds, and clearly struggling. His rescuer was deeply concerned but also afraid to bring him inside, as she has cats of her own and needed to be sure it was safe. She wasn’t certain if Bruno’s injuries were from abuse or from other animals — but what she did know was that he was hurting.
One day, Bruno cried at her door, begging to come inside. Even after being advised by local animal control to leave him outside, she couldn’t turn her back on him.
We approved Bruno for a veterinary exam, where he sadly tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Bruno deserves safety, comfort, and love. The rescuer is working to find Bruno a home so he can finally be off the street for good. Thank you to everyone who listens to their heart and speaks up for cats like Bruno when they need it most.
